Let's be honest for the price your expecting more of a show light, not a go light. That's what I thought too. Boy was I wrong. It fit to my factory drilled holes in my bull bar perfectly and let me tell you, it's much brighter than i expected. As a volunteer firefighter I'll be using this as scene lighting for when I go direct to calls at night.included in my review are some pictures of the light itself, and my truck at night with the light on and off. I hope I am of some help to you. When buying this is the kind of review that I wanted to see.
This light is very bright. I installed this on a 660 rhino. When testing battery voltage at 1/3 throdle this light bar uses twice the power as stock headlights.
I was very hesitant to purchase one of these, due to the brand name and low cost. But, I had to know if it might be a reasonable alternative to buying one for $1000.00 or more. Several reviews mentioned issues with condensation getting inside the housing, so when it arrived I applied black RTV gasket sealer (Permatex) to all the casing joints, the bolt holes (covered them completely), and around the glass. I did not disassemble it in anyway, I just used common sense, and put it on any spot that could possibly be where water or moisture might sneak in. I used thick rubber bushings between it and the mounting points as shock absorbers. After several weeks of extreme (very extreme- yes very extreme again) offroading, rain, and high humidity -so far, no moisture or condensation has been seen inside it. All LEDs still work great. It does as good as or better than some of my buddies' $600 and up light bars and I would definitely recommend it. I did invest a little time on the front end prior to installation but the outcome was great and well worth the hour I spent putting a little RTV on it. There are also a ton of YouTube vids on these types of bars with tips/tricks to prep them. I just ordered another one for another jeep I own. No idea if my prep work and use of bushings have anything to do with my experience, but it seemed to work for me.
These are great. Super bright, sturdy, they were easy to install, and haven't had one issue with moisture getting inside. As far as that last issue with water inside, it must be luck of the draw. I drive around in lower LA and it's always raining in this nasty swamp. I have installed them inside the front grille of a 2012 F150, it fits perfectly, it's hidden from view but so bright the grille doesn't obstruct any of the light. I am completely satisfied with this product, the price is extremely fair for this quality.
Excellent shipping, great product, would buy again. A+++
This Light bar works great. Very bright and seems to work without battery drainage.
at only 65 bucks I though yeah it will be ok light bar, boy was I wrong it came in 3 days later the quality of its construction was immaculate, but be warned this does not come with a wiring harness which I already was aware of when I purchased this another thing that worries me was the mounts well they not plastic they are steel and look to hold for many offroad rides to come I will put this thing to the test, you should to
I bought these to race offroad. I read reviews saying they weren't good. I raced the 2014 Parker 425 in class 2000 (limited Volkswagen). These light bars ran for 10 hours straight no problem and put out more than enough light. They are basically the same as a rigid industries bar but from china. They are worth it
